BACKGROUND:
My work as an editor is informed by experience as a curator, teacher, and arts administrator. Currently, I am an adjunct art history and writing instructor for Los Angeles–based study programs with Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) and Elon University (Elon, NC). In previous roles as Deputy Director of the Wende Museum in Culver City, CA (2020–22) and Deputy Director of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in West Hollywood, CA (2009–19), my responsibilities included editorial review of all public communications, from exhibition texts and press releases to program-specific publications and grant applications. I have received support for publishing projects from the Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant (with Shoghig Halajian and Suzy Halajian) and the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, and my own writing has appeared in Artillery, Camera Austria International, X-TRA, and elsewhere.
